An interesting event took place today in Kyiv. It's about the conference. Mobile first!dedicated to the development of mobile applications. Of course, to a greater extent, it was interesting to developers. But there were also issues related to brands.
The fact is that any modern company that owns a more or less large brand strives to create a mobile application for it, and it is desirable that it be available on all popular mobile platforms (except perhaps the deceased Windows Mobile and agonizing Symbian).
But the problem is that few people think about why such an application is needed at all. Most often it is just a tribute to fashion and nothing more. As a result, app markets are literally littered with heaps of branded apps, the meaning of which has yet to be found.
And this question, among many others, was also raised on Mobile First! conference. Speaker Aleksey Pisarevsky, from the company SmartR, considered various aspects of creating such applications.
